Munich, Germany – January 15, 2025 – Boulder Dash is one of the most popular video games of all time and founded an entire genre. Munich-based publisher BBG Entertainment has been working with the community for over a year on Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary, the most extensive and spectacular version yet. In addition to the 60 original levels from Boulder Dash, Boulder Dash 2 and Boulder Dash 3 in the original look, over 80 new levels will be included, including the best levels from the global Boulder Dash community.
BBG Entertainment has now released the eagerly awaited free demo version on Steam for PC and Mac, which includes a selectable character, a tutorial with ten levels and three levels each from Arno’s World and Pawel’s World.
The level editor, several selectable characters, the original levels from the three classic Boulder Dash games and over 70 other levels will be available exclusively in the full version, for which BBG Entertainment has a few surprises up its sleeve. The release is planned for PC, Mac, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation for April.
